I read somewhere 'Coplington' was actually about Boldon Colliery a mining village in NE England near South Shields, where at least one of the band originally hailed from. Love the other side 'Watchmaker' too.

Sorry, but I think this is a hopeless attempt at psych bandwagon jumping.
The Molly Malone quote is pointless and jarring, the strained harmonies painfull and no amount of 'la la las' can make up for the lack of a tune or chorus.
This is 'psych' made by a band who had no idea what psych was. ...

@XmasHitman Yes, but out of this particular zeitgeist grew radical feminism, Frendz, Spare Rib and it gave voices to women like Germaine Greer and Caroline Coon. 1967 was just the begining and social change was radically accelerated due to the 'psychedelic' movement.

@sonicheadbanger It was always called "Be Forewarned". It was wrongly credited as "Gathering of the tribe" when it was compiled on the Pebbles box set. It had originally appeared on a compliation called "Gathering of the tribe", which is presumably where the mix up came from.
