About this user
I am orginally from Seville, Spain, but came to the United States with my family when I was ten years old; and, have duel citizenship with both United States and Spain.
My mother is Irish-American and my father is Turkish-Spanish.
My father's family three generations previous imigrated from Turkey and Morcocco. I am blessed to look like my father's side of the family being tall with dark hair and olive green eyes like the turkish musical artist Tarkan (featured on my profile page). Yes, my eyes are just as piercing and mesmerizing, that's not a conceit, but a genetic fact.
I am proud of my rich mixed cultural heritage and grew up learning the traditions of both sides of my familys cultures. In addition, to the obvious English, I fluently speak Castillian Spanish, Arabic, Turkish, and some French. I can understand Italian, and some German. When you grow up in a family that plays Classical, Spanish, Arabic, and Turkish music every day, the languages come natural.
I am a passionate and complex person, and refered to by my family as an 'old soul'. I was taught and encouraged to express my affections poetically through writings in my personal letters with my friends and family. Anything less is unnatural for me. The use of slang is not permitted in my family, spoken formal English, other than our traditional languages, is customary.
Therefore, if I ever use 'slang' ever in my emails or comments on a 'youtube' site, it is used much like an insult or 'curse' word. I have great tolerance and patience, but if I result to 'slang' the 'line in the sand' has been drawn, so to speak, and expect the sting of my wrath.

Up until my undergrad year I was a Competitive Bodybuilder in both middle weight and pairs and qualified for the USA and earned a black belt in Taeknowndo. Afterwards, I got into mixed martial arts: kickboxing, shotokan karate, muay thai, and Jiu-Jitsu. Yes, I know how to use a Samuri sword and have been trained in martial art weaponery.
Now, I use minimual weights with martial arts to stay fit. Yes, I can do 'splits' just as deep as Jean Claude Van Damne. I'm happy with my softer six pack and being able to eat and enjoy what I want because the competitive years are past me. Believe it or not, as a youngester I took some ballet and jazz; and, learned all the traditional Spanish and Arabic dances. I love to Tango and Salsa...dance is very sensual and passionate!
In my spare time, I write poetry and short stories; and, working on my third fiction novel. I like to play Flamenco guitar, play classical piano, hike, mountain bike ride, swim, watch movies, ride jet ski's, ride my Italian Ducani motorcycle, drive my BMW 6 series and Honda S2000 sports car, and listen to music.
Believe it or not, I am a man who knows how to cook: Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Southern American dishes and do it well when I entertain my friends. I like fine wines and fine dining. My favorite pastime is sitting at an outdoor cafe with a doppio espresso macchiato with a friend and have a leisurely conversation. I particularly enjoy my privacy and being at home on my patio with a glass of wine and watch the sun set. Absolutely adore sun sets and being near the water.
My passion is to travel and have extensively all over the world and throughout the United States. My favorite places: France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Turkey, Yucatan Peninsula (Mexico), Belize, Peru. Haven't had a chance to travel to Japan yet.
