I used to stay in Northbourne Street back in the 1980's, 143 at the very top, moved out in 1983 and then back again in 1987 to No.106, around the middle. There were certainly some characters in that street especially when the Chesterfield got turned out at closing time! happy memories though :D

I was only 8 yrs old when this song was out and i just remember hearing it over and over again on the radio, it was 1976 and the UK was basking in a heatwave that lasted pretty much all summer. When i hear it now i think of long hot summer days and good times. How times flys :)
