This channel is dedicated to personal Handsonic (Roland HPD-15) ways of playing and displays extracts of a forthcoming audiovisual tutorial on advanced techniques on this instrument. So this channel is a kind of draft.
All the videos uploaded here are different from the performances shown on the Odiolorgnette channel (devoted to sound esthetics and experimental studies developped around the Handsonic).
This Handsonic1 channel is a non exhaustive guide, purely technical, focusing only on hands positions and fingering works.

i really like what you do, emulating vinyl manipulation is tripped right out and you are really, really good, and have adapted some awesome finger drumming tech's,,,, sounds like you might have a beat swapping/juggling background....awesome stuff anyway,,,,,,,, i would like to see you do some non vinylised work. i have a hpd10 and i am a drummer in a band and only use the handsonic. i have got to upload more vids of me playing as the only vid i have is of a song by a website i was asked to create a beat for. shit vid, but will get some more up soon of highly efficient adapted tech's for conga solo at 155 beats a minute and others that are apparently good to watch. keep it up, loving your work!
Can I ask you which sounds you assigned to the pads ...in one word, your "presets", especialy to play the DJ technics with ribons?
