um....I'm me! And I like Dancing Hamsters! I don't care if their Gemmy or Funtime, just if they work and if they are from my favorite Toy Store: K-B Toys...Too bad they closed down. It wasn't just a toy store to me. The cashiers and managers walked over to me and said something encouraging like "Hey, Hamster Man!" and other encouraging phrases. But I thank all of this dancing hamster stuff for my Grandma, who bought all these for me. She was a truly nice lady. Anyways, you know those display stands they had at K-B? The ones that had all the Dancing Hamsters in it? Anyways, the manager decided to give me the ENTIRE stand after I bought my 50th hamster there. It was, and still is, one of the most memorable moments of my life. I'm not sure where it is now though lol. But K-B was amazing until about the beginning of 2005. Things went downhill from there. All the freindly employees and cashiers got "permenantly laid off" they said, and got replaced with stuck up, strict dictators who didn't even recognize the "hamster boy" anymore. By that time anyways, the furry dancing hamsters got replaced by those mini hamsters, and I really never caught onto those. And worse of all, my Grandma died in 2005 of "overdosage" of pills. 2005 was probably one of the weirdest years of my life. It wasn't horrible, I mean, it had good parts to it! It was just....weird. Anyways, I had to move away from K.B. Toys early 2005 to go to my new home in San Antonio Texas. It was cool there, but I started to realize something was up with K.B. they constantly started having half off sales and such. And to top it all off, I noticed most of the Gemmy items were on the Clearence isle (if thats how you spell it lol.) I kind of had the felling K.B. was on the verge of closing down, and sadly the one in San Antonio closed down around mid 2006. It was pretty sad, but I was glad the one in Texarkana Texas (the place I lived before I moved to San Antonio) was open, even though it was up tight and old dancing hamster- less. So I enjoyed living in San Antonio until I had to move to Little Rock, Arkansas in January 5, 2009. I went back to Texarkana to visit when I realized the Texarkana K.B. Toys is closing Down! Little did I know the entire business shut down until today, December 23, 2009. (well, it may not be December 23, 2009 if your watchin this in the 22nd century lol.) Anyways, that's my K.B. story. It was full of happiness, and sadness, but in the end I ended up with what I came to K.B. for: A wardrobe full of new in box dancing hamsters.
