@hanlan1975 There's no mention in the movie that the Brits are special forces. They're obviously not serving on the evidence of the $500,000 reward they're after. So they could as easily be ex army working as PMC...but sure the bomb disposal team seem to be pretty hot on the sniper rifle!

Really awesome route did it in the winter just passed. Not too difficult (so long as you got some skills) but nice and good fun. Me and my mate got hit by a proper blizzard half way up which wanted to knock us both over...an epic route!

A great movie and a great opening scene but not entirely accurate. The infantry fought in a more cohesive manner than this. This gives the impression they would engage in individual battles which they didn't do...still it's Hollywood and is an awesome movie.
