** Master Woo has earned teaching degree in Taekwondo (as a Major) from Yong-In University in Korea. Master Woo is 6th degree certified international master instructor from World Taekwondo Federation and has been teaching Taekwondo for 19years in the state. In addition, he has earned multiple teaching degrees including physical education teacher's license from the Ministry of Education in Korea and yoga teacher's license from Yong-In University. He has been involved in Taekwondo for more than 30 consecutive years.
The front kick is the basic technique for delivering a direct blow to the opponent's trunk or face. The attack is made with the ball of the foot. The front kick motion forms basic mechanics for all front kicking learned in Tae Kwon Do. Basic training for the front kick is consistent midsection kicking practice. The front kick motion is divided into three stages. Tightly chambering, snapping and recovering. When attacking the face, the most important element of the motion is a high tight tuck and powerful lift of the upper thigh. In Basic training it is important to first concentrate on mastering proper form. Once the basic form can be correctly executed, power and speed are then added to the motion.
