About Me:
I was given the name Halogirl by a former instructor in college. My birthday is March 16. This is how my user name came to be Halogirl316.
I love to write and sing Christian music and hope to upload some of my original songs in the near future. =)
I play guitar and piano/keyboard and have led Praise and Worship in a number of churches we attended. I have also sang specials in church.

Both of my daughters love to sing and started singing in church when they were very small. They sang their very first duet at the ages of 5 and 7. It was called, "When I Grow Up, I Want to be Just Like You." They now love to sing for the youtube audience. They are two of the most wonderful blessings that God has ever given me. Can you tell I am proud of them?

Often I have heard people say, "How good God is! We prayed that it would not rain for our church picnic, and look at the lovely weather!" Yes, God is good when He sends good weather. But God was also good when He allowed my sister, Betsie, to starve to death before my eyes in a German concentration camp. I remember one occasion when I was very discouraged there. Everything around us was dark, and there was darkness in my heart. I remember telling Betsie that I thought God had forgotten us. "No, Corrie," said Betsie, "He has not forgotten us. Remember His Word: "For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His steadfast love toward those who fear Him." Corrie concludes, "There is an ocean of God's love available - there is plenty for everyone. May God grant you never to doubt that victorious love - whatever the circumstances."

I am a Radiological Technologist which is the fancy name for an X-ray Tech. I love doing this work.
Interests:
God, My husband and children are not my hobbies but my first loves, my pet chihuahua, reading, watching movies, singing, playing guitar and keyboard, songwriting, and many other activities.
Movies:
My two favorite movies are Ever After with Drew Barrymore and Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley. I also am a huge fan of old movies from the 30's,40's and 50's. I love to listen to Bill O'Reilly and Glen Beck! They are awesome.
