About Me:
My Fashion Story
Like many girls i love clothing, especially designer. I save up my money to buy nice things. My Philosophy is I would rather pay much more for one shirt, pant, ect. than the same amount of money for 5 lower quality shirts, thats just me. My sister is 12 years older than me and raised me on Vouge and dressed me head 2 toe in fabulous fashion, so i knew i would end up in the fashion business. I like high fashion pieces and im not afraid to wear something totally out there to my suburban supermarket. I may typically dress more conservative, but you should take a look in my mind to see what i dream of wearing when i can afford it. People describe my style as both Classic and trendy. A perfect combination of the two. I look at my style as those things, but with comfort as a key. I hope to expand my wardrobe with crazy couture inspired pieces once i learn how to sew like a pro during my studies this fall. As i have been collecting magazines such as vogue,marie claire, ect. I have found my style and personality through fashion when flipping through these magazines. I would recommend being inspired by yourself, and not what others are wearing on youtube. Now im blabbering, but hopefully you get something out of my channel, and i cant wait to see my future in fashion.
My Makeup Story
I remember going to the library with my mom and i would check out all sorts of childrens books. But at the end of each trip i remember running up to a place i had memorized...The beauty section ... I memorized exactly where my favorite one was...Face Forward by Kevyn Aucoin, flipping through the makeovers at age 5.
I then began begging my older sister to apply pink lipgloss on my lips and blue eyeshadow on my lids.
From there it took off, my love of makeup. Around the awkward stage in middle school i wanted to start wearing makeup full time,so my best family friend Kelly bought me a pallet from Icing that had pink glitter shadow,and i was obsessed. Constantly experimenting.
Learning tips from seventeen magazine and In style i began to learn,and then youtube came along and i learned about MAC and Sephora and the wonders of quality products!
Then youtube came along around Summer 2008 and Julieg713 taught me how to blend and the importance of the shadow brush. Watching these beauty gurus like i would watch tv i began to see how much i loved this Art and how much i wanted it to be more than just a hobby. Discovering Petrilude began to show me how to create cuts, and masks all with just a little makeup. Summer of 2010 i decided i was ready to show the world what i could do.
I love makeup. It transforms a person into a monster,princess,or a more beautiful self.
I cant wait to see where this world takes me.
