I have been an atheist for over 50 years; this after having been raised in a religious environment, indoctrinated through 9 years of parochial school and compulsory attendance at religious services.

I contend that religious indoctrination of children is Child Abuse.

Religious indoctrination deprives the child of their most fundamental right, that of self-determination, as guaranteed by the UN Declaration of Human Rights. It also abrogates the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child with respect to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.

Religious indoctrination destroys minds.
