The Hawaii 4x4 Association (H4x4A) was founded in 2008 to bring the 4x4 community together on all Hawaiian Islands. A common voice was needed to address the issues of; lack of and decreasing access to 4x4 trails, lack of Off Road Vehicle (ORV) parks, varying rules and enforcement issues, legislation targeting the 4x4 community and the need for a strong group of dedicated individuals that will work with the State of Hawaii and other environmental / cultural organizations to ensure that 4 wheeling would be safe, legal and done in a responsible manner.
