ichael Holt and the Trophy 500s are a dynamic mix of blues, big band swing, rock and roll influences from the 50s and 60s, and roots Americana.
Michael has been playing and entertaining crowds for 20+ years. Michael has played all over the U.S., overseas, and can be found locally in Austin at The Continental Club, the Saxon Pub, and Antone's to name a few. Michael has shared the stage with piano great Pinetop Perkins, vocalist Spencer Thomas, pianist Nick Connolly, The Cobra's drummer Rodney Craig, slide player Harry Bodine, and W.C. Clark. Michael also plays guitar for The Spencer Thomas and The PainKillers and is founder of the record label V-8 Records..
