@bluegrasssingingman Hmmm. Some Loars may sound okay, but try out some mandos that aren't made in a big factory sometime. Also, the right set-up can make even a Loar sound pretty damn good. The Pac-Rim mandos are generally too inconsistent in quality for my taste, though.
