About guropaolo
I am Paolo Aquino, a lifelong martial art student, and instructor.
In Manila, the term "guro" means teacher. Thus the name Guro (teacher) Paolo. I'm no master, or "highness", just a lifelong student of martial arts, constantly trying to push myself to improve.
These are my expeditions and experiments.
I am constantly honing my craft and I would like to honor my instructors namely: Vincent Aquino of Tovak Escrima, Master Cris Ampit of Lapunti Arnis, Kru Orlando Lapuz of Muay Thai, Guro Jun Dela Cruz of Lameco Escrima, Manong Totoy Felipe of Dumog Batangas, Peter Ng of Yang Taiji, Wakinaguri Sensei of Nansei Kempo, and Guru Yap Mat of Silat Angin/Baguazhang.
