The amount of people on the planet is not the problem.

Corporations and the ultra rich who own them are.

They do not spend a single dollar of profit to change production or clean up their act.

Killing 90% of the human race does not clean up a single square foot or clean a single liter of water.

But billions of people could clean up the planet in a really short time if 20% of the profits or almost ANY fraction was used on all the alternative research and inventions that are out there.

Tree planting and protection of our current forests can _only_ come about through usage of profits from the largest banks and corporations.

I do not look down upon any religious views. Most people are decent people who just want to take care of their children and follow the good in their religion. But some of the calls for killing and violence in the bible make me a bit concerned for the people who take it literally..

As for politics, we wouldn't need it if people stuck to being truthful.

other than that, I think people who commit crimes should get the proportional response a decent society delivers.

the corporate elites or ruling elites if you will, blame the amount of people on the planet for the current levels of pollution, but it is THEIR economic system that is horribly flawed, rewarding short term gain, rewardingpollution and no responsibility. Democracy and decent wages have always made people have fewer children and made them able to clean up and make choices. The current economic system ruled by a few mega corporation does not offer any choices. I Reside in Norway.

The pretense of some of the ultra rich elites, "New World Order" types if you will, such as CNN's founder and owner Ted Turner, is that killing off people will supposedly stop pollution.

Well, it's not people that pollute, its the modes of production of the ultra rich own corporations and their unwillingness to sacrifice a single dollar to clean up their act while making billion dollar profits. Just a tiny fraction of their combined profits and a tiny tax on all the money transfers and speculation and on tax havens would be able to pay for the cleaning up of the oceans many times over. But do they clean up after their own profits? Nope. Do most of the worlds people buy many products other than food and clothing? Nope. Is clothing made of pesticide and water intensive cotton instead of environmentally friendly hemp, ten times stronger than cotton? Yup. will the pollution of the rich stop if 90% of the worlds poor die? Not at all. I think they just want to kill people because its the ultimate proof of power. If you have enormous amounts of money, then money is not interesting anymore. If you have total control over what people earn and do, then the last piece of control over people you can attain is wether they live or die. Power had is always power used. The "crazies" in pentagon and around Reagan as they were called, got into power and have been there ever since Bush 1, and now they want to use all their power to put into place all the craziest things they can think of. Nothing is to perverse for them, nothing is too insane, nothing is too evil, sick or twisted for them. The end result of powermad psychos who get into power.

Lets see. the corporate elite pretends people are polluting, when its their system and their production methods that chirn out pollution. their economic system is _geared_ to pollute & rewards pollution. THEIR system corrupts third world politicians and military and politicians, indonesia and nigeria are garbage heaps _because _corporations_ control those countries! and then the corporate elite has the audacity and GALL to blame PEOPLE???
