I am a former fundamentalist, believer in the Biblical inerrancy of the original autographs, six-day creationist, born again, Protestant, Moody Bible Institute attending Christian.
I am now an atheist with deist leanings and a strong interest in debate.
My entire family (50+ people) are fundamentalist Christians. I left the faith last year around August after feeling the Lord lead me into apologetics and then discovering that naturalism provided a more comprehensive and accurate explanation of everything in the universe - including every Christian experience I ever had (conversion, dreams, visions, demonic oppression, etc.)
Secretly, deep inside, I still wish Christianity were true and am hoping I will run across a well-reasoned defense of the faith that is internally sound. So far, though, I have learned not to hold my breath.
