I would label this as a maintenance tip, not fixing it. A fix it video would more than likely show how to solve the problem without calling a tech.

Sounds awesome man. Kind of a repeat question but how is your snare tuned for this cover? I have a 6.5x14 brass covered by nickel snare but can't find the right head tension combination to get the pop and the depth of that sound.
