The only thing that really pissed me off is how it ended at the bass solo. Everyone was killing it and they pull the plug on the Mr. Tibbs?! I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight.

I love Oberg's comping style. He comps too loud sometimes but he's got so much to bring to the table.

@bj4paul Dude... Have you tried playing over this progression? Its hard to do slow... especially tastefully. And all that country picking technique and phrasing. I admit, "brilliant" is thrown around losely but definitely not "nothing special" and definitely not just "extremely fast" playing. ...

I've had the honor of playing with them both. Oz murders Eric Johnson... Not TOTALLY subjective. Technically, harmonically, artistically... Oz is where its at. That and I find it repulsive how Eric's playing like he has something to prove.

yeah... the timing thing... i use to try and do this... its that whole idea that shit is going by so fast that it probably doesn't really matter... but it totally does. I know shred giants who seem to get a lot of work and all of them are really nazi's about there timing, more so than technique ...
