When I first heard this song decades ago I was slack jawed. Both by his voice and guitar playing. I believed (and still do) that Ken Tamplin was better than most of the shredders in secular music like Malmsteen, Bettencourt and Vai. He was absolutely mind blowing. Still is apparently!

Always glad to have videos like this. I am a bluegrass flat picker and have picked this song many times but there is always something to learn! I will be adding many of these licks into my playing! Anything to improve! Very smooth picking there, buddy!
