Thanks alot man this tutorial helped me get my ps3 working again after many years! And there was a modern warfare 2 game inside which caused it to break due my brother playing TOO MUCH. LOL. We'll see how long it lasts with Artic Silver 5 compound. Thanks, you are the man.

I followed this reflow method a month ago and got the RLOD/YLOD again and finally opened up the console and found that all the areas i applied flux to looks corroded or burnt. Dont know if that was the reason for the recent failure but it surely doesnt look good. I would be very carefull if you ...
