I hate Valentine's Day mostly because I hate feeling like a conformist and buying into a pseudo-holiday - plus, why do you have to reserve just one day to be romantic and do something special with your s/o?

Veggie Lasagna

My high school sweetheart dumped me as soon as we got on the plane home from a school trip to Italy - and we had to spend the next eight hours in awkward silence because our seats were right next to each other. The least she could have done was wait till we landed!

My vote would go to "Six Feet Under" - to me, every episode seemed like a movie in itself, with so much going on and so much depth and complexity to the characters and their situation.

I like the idea of a Christmas scavenger hunt in which the winner has to search the web (or your videos) for clues to enter for each day's prize - and keep track of a series of clues for a grand prize at the end.

I'm going to a Halloween parade and party tomorrow and doing some DIY on Sunday (finally going to finish painting some built-in bookshelves in the living room). Hope you have a great weekend!

I usually don't start thinking about decorations and gifts seriously until the week or so before Thanksgiving - and then it's a mad dash for the next month to get everything done!

Maybe against my better judgment, I'm going as Freddie Mercury this year. :)
