@withtheoldbreed Apparently ruger fixed this by making the "bolt" head rounded instead of being "sharp". A few people said they had this problem and ruger gave them a whole new upper with it rounded.

@NigguhJason ha ha so true, i was at the cecil county drag strip over the summer and a gtr went a 11.8 which was impressive and the next run a zo6 rolls up and ran a 11.5, it was a nice slap in the face to the gtr.
