And while, I won't argue that currently, Wolverine is the most popular X-Men character, that in no makes Origins better than First Class. You can't base a good film on popularity. Thats just silly. Its like saying Twilight is better than Citizen Kane because it made more money and has more well known characters.

Part 2: I love Wolverine, I love Hugh Jackman, but to say that Origins is the better film is simply retarded especially considering the way Wolverine Origins destroyed the source material with the stupid twist of Sabretooth being Wolverine's brother as well as getting rid of the Rose character. Gambit's role was also a good enough reason to hate the film and it also ruined Deadpool. So therefore, your logic would say that the makers of Origins had the right to brutally rape two of the most popular comic book characters ever (Deadpool and Gambit) in order to give Wolverine a lazily thrown together backstory that could have been good had more time and effort been put into it? How does that make sense?. While First Class didn't exactly stick to the source material very well, it gave us a good story. You can't just say a film was better because its about Wolverine.

Part 1: You truly believe that Wolverine is what made X-Men popular? First of all, X-Men films arent all that popular to begin with. Second, while Wolverine was a semi-main character in the original X-Men comics, he wasn't utilized that much. Third, thats a horrible reason to say Origins is better than First Class. First Class was a better film, with better acting, a more well written script, and a good group of mutants (Banshee, Darwin, Havok, Emma Frost, etc.) who are usually overlooked in the movies.
