It's that time - the GTM band wagon is all loaded up and ready to roll you in 2011 -- twenty three Australian and international touring acts plus up to ten local groups at each of the five shows across Australia.

We were amazed, humbled and delighted by the response of the GTM musicians and 75,000 party-goers nation wide in 2010. GTM is pumped to do it all again in 2011, and we have been plotting and scheming to make it that little more special.

GTM is still the only national music event that tours regional cities, and Canberra, mixing the excitement of a city festival with the relaxed vibe of the country.We have set up a one day and night outdoor show for each location, with a colossal double stage for non stop bands and fans, along with the Moolin Rouge big-top tent for relentless action groove.

We have programmed a line up that is diverse and ever-changing on the day -- from indie and alternative rock to pop, hip-hop and electronica. You will see some of your favourites, and maybe discover new things too.

GTM plays in towns which are charming for the visitor, in easy striking distance of the country, within reach of cities, and in which GTM is a unique and special event for locals. GTM is proud to play Bendigo (Saturday April 30), Townsville (Sunday 1 May), Maitland (Saturday 7 May), Canberra (Sunday 8 May) and Bunbury (Saturday 14 May) in 2011, and are pleased to say you have not seen a gig like this since last year.

As always, the crowd will make the party hearty, and we have worked hard to keep the bill under $100 and the numbers reasonable, so queues and congestion don't get out of hand. All you have to do is focus on the good times.

We also lay on a spread of tucker treats, a market of food stalls to keep you ticking over and over, and a bar to wash it all down, as well as amusements and rides if you seek a different kind of distraction.

The GTM welcome mat is warmly layed out for people of all ages, tastes and tribes - come on inside. On the day, the energy is electric, the atmosphere golden and the party is really a great celebration of all the GTM people.

GTM is a licensed all ages (16 + recommended) event. GTM recommends parents should consider whether the event appropriate for their child and recommends that any children under 16 years of age who attend the event are accompanied by parent or guardian.

Persons who are over the age of 18 years of age and wish to purchase alcohol MUST have photographic ID. No pass outs will be issued at any of the five GTM events.
