My family is hearing and I'm the only Deaf person. We do the same thing whenever someone is downstairs in the basement. I will flick on the lights to get my dad's, brother or mom's attention. Sometimes my brother will get mad at me and say "C'mon! Your legs work! Just walk downstairs!!!"
