@CaneMcKeyton That's a really good point. Although this game seems to be inspired by X-Com, it looks like they may have done themselves more harm than good by using the name. Well, unless they did something clever like this game is the historical back drop for the original game?

@bphutchins Oh, yeah. The people who wrote this have way too much knowledge of D&D 3rd edition not to have played. I watched this after a role-playing game last night, and the people weren't sure if they should laugh or cry.

Second Life has a fantastic, one of a kind, 3D, artistic community, but it's poorly suited for action games. It will probably get there one day, but I don't think it's there yet. It can do games of other kinds; just don't expect action games that will keep your attention for more than 5 minute...
