Greymatter, an all female British folk rock five piece established in 2004 in the South of England, are building a strong reputation for consummate musicianship and engaging live performances.

Greymatter deliver great female vocal harmonies set against a rich pop/folk rock backdrop.

They have been likened to the Indigo Girls, Texas, James Morrison, Fleetwood Mac and Jewel, but these five women - influenced by bands as diverse as Cherry Ghost, Keane, and Sarah McLachlan - have developed a sound that is very much their own.

From South East UK, Greymatter are great fun, talented, and professional. Having won hearts and minds in the UK and Europe with their strong musicianship and warm personalities, they are now enjoying a sixth year of live performances and still going from strength to strength. To date every venue, promoter, and event organiser has invited them back, and their fans never fail to turn up and shout for more. Greymatter have toured in France, Germany and also Greece, with invites from USA , Japan and Australia. Greymatter are highly regarded as a band and musicians, and therefore have performed at leading UK gay events year on year.

With two self-produced and worldwide distributed albums to their name, and a third on its way, Greymatter clearly demonstrate their deep passion for their heartfelt and memorable songs about life and love. Greymatter have had phenomenal sales of both their albums, both in physical and digital online sales.

Greymatter have also had great reviews and interviews from the media including coverage in Diva, Gingerbeer, G3 and many more. Also airplay on BBC Berkshire, Brighton's Radio Reverb, Eagle Fm, and Radio Basingstoke.

Georgey's talented songwriting, passionate vocals, and expressive guitar and piano; Emma's heartfelt and pure vocal performances; Julie's smooth solid bass rhythms; Jules's musically accomplished guitar and trumpet; and Andi's perfectly timed drums with a pinch of attitude. It all adds up to a sound that will leave any music lover wanting more more more.
