No, you doofus. I agree that the Old Testament was written before the New Testament. The so-called "prophecy" is not prophecy. It's ad hoc and post hoc confirmation bias. If you don't know what that means, I can explain. "Ad hoc" means literally "for this", which means you are applying this argument of prophecy ONLY FOR THIS (the bible) and not for everything else, like Matchbox 20 which did the very same thing. "Post hoc" means, sometimes phrased "post hoc ergo propter hoc", means that simply because something came AFTER something, it was caused by the earlier thing. The so-called "prophecy" has no objective connection to what you claim is the fulfillment of the prophecy. Which leads me to confirmation bias. Confirmation bias means that you accept confirming evidence while ignoring disconfirming evidence when they are the SAME KIND OF EVIDENCE. For instance, you don't accept the Matchbox 20 prophecy, when it is equal to your so-called bible prophecy.

you do agree the prophecy about Jesus is true from your comment
I am still learn about the bible after 25 years of research
tell me why my no being able to explain all think how you like make the prophecy false?
We'll then good. This should be interesting. I suppose that what you're going to try and do is bury me with esoteric terminology and concepts that you know I don't know about. I further suppose that you would try to do this in order to try and win an argument. Though it is not winning an argument.

Yes, it reminds me of how Christians use confirmation bias retrospectively and try to claim it is prophecy when it is not. Your claim that the "bulls" mentioned in Psalm 22 is actually Roman soldiers surrounding Jesus at the crucifixion is a prime example. A bull is not a Roman soldier, so claiming it is post hoc is nonsense.

My strength is dried up like a potsherd, And my tongue cleaves to my jaws; And Thou dost lay me in the dust of death. 16 For dogs have surrounded me; A band of evildoers has encompassed me; They pierced my hands and my feet. 17 I can count all my bones. They look, they stare at me; 18 They divide my garments among them, And for my clothing they cast lots." What does that sound like to you? Or what does it remind you of if anything?

Great job there. Thanks!

Science doesn't "prove" things, it uses evidence. My life may be better if certain discoveries are made that indicate god does not exist--the same kind of discoveries that have been made throughout history. Disbelief is not a religion. You do realize I don't believe in your god now, so why would my life be any different if your particular god was "disproven" somehow? We give our life meaning in the HERE AND NOW, and that is all we can do.

Just a hypothetical, what happens when you prove there is no God? Will your life be better or indifferent? Will your religion of disbelief carry the day? What do you do with your guilt, fear or worry? Is life just an empty waste of time with no consequence or purpose? We are a cosmic mistake that will be wiped off the universe soon enough like the dinosaurs. Seems like a bleak existence to truly be alone and have nothing but you.
