When you have an eye exam they put drops into your eyes that dilate the pupils. This "opens" your eyes up quite a bit allowing the eye doctor to see clearly inside your eyes. He can then do a very thorough examination of the interior of your eyeball. The effect of the drops is to make everything very bright because your pupils are wide open. Also, your eyesight is somewhat blurry. So, yes, it's a side effect but is temporary. Depending on the type of eye drops this side effect usually lasts 12-24 hours. So, my eyes are fine now. In the past I have had eye drops that were even stronger and then this side effect can last a day or two. So when I schedule an eye exam I plan nothing for the rest of the day. I drive home, wearing sunglasses, and stay at home the rest of the day. I was able to see the computer screen yesterday but it was blurry and annoying to look at. I was worried about you because the comments were bothering you and wanted to check to make sure you were OK.

Hi Ophelia... I hope you're feeling better. I'm having trouble seeing the screen because the eye drops are still affecting my eyes and will for the rest of the day. I knew you would be upset by the comments. Unfortunately there are many people in this world who are not nice like you. Fortunately for the world there are people like you who bring some sanity to this crazy world we live in. So, dont be sad. Go watch some Andrea Bocelli videos or listen to some Andrea Bocelli CD's. Hi Ophelia.... I don't like the comments either. I've contacted YT a number of times about some of the racist comments. It's hard to keep up. The Super Bowl video has gone "viral" and gotten about a million views. With that you get thousands of comments. The crazy people come out of the woodwork. I could block all comments but I don't want to do that. Many people, like you, have made very nice comments. Don't let it get you down. Unfortunately there are a lot of "bad" people out there. I hope you feel better. I will check back with you to make sure you're OK. I have an eye doctor's appointment tomorrow and because of eye drops won't be on the computer for about a day.
