Anyone want to venture a guess at the quick insert of bushes occurring at 10:06, and the slightly longer blackout at 10:14 for no apparent reason? I could.

Haven't seen the widescreen version since 1956 as a kid. Seeing SO much more now as an adult. Can now see that it's Cantinflas' movie 100%.

Anyone notice at 10:56 that the second of two arrow shot at Cantinflas hits him dead-on in his right shoulder but bounces off. LOL.

@yoursaxman Yes, I remember that one too, also a Fractured Fairy Tale from the Rocky/Bullwinkle shows. One of the silliest FFs, next to Pinochio. Wish someone could post those.

7:55 and following... The Mexican patrol chasing Davey are wearing uniforms that we would see re-used a couple years later in the Disney Zorro series. Anyone know if these are correct for the actual time periods?

@mphrdldn Sorry to disappoint you, but although Robert Strauss (Animal) was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, he lost to Frank Sinatra, for his role as "Maggio" in "From Here to Eternity". A hard choice for the Academy, as both performances were terrific.

Anyone know who the little girl in pink and the boy in the brown jacket & white knickerbockers, who Marcellus sings to at 0:39-0:45? You see them dancing together later in the Shipoopi, particularly at 4:38.
