Asperger Syndrome and Me

This channel is devoted to Autism/Asperger Syndrome (in adults) and some other mental health issues and how having Autism or AS relates to jobs or careers.

Some others topics may include: ADHD, OCD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, TS, ODD, IED, and depression. I learned about Autism from my last employer.

I desire to gain 5-10 yrs experience working in the corporate world of work in Human Resources BEFORE I go on to owning my own business (employment agency for adults with Asperger Syndrome). I am working on networking and getting out of the house more. Going to church 3x's a week is not enough. I help out the homeless (Spread Peace Perris) on Saturday by preparing food/ serving food and giving them clothes.

I need CORPORATE work experience. I live in a small city in Southern California, now with a population of about 60K. I seek a position in administrative duites. Believe me when I say "I love paper work" and "I am task oriented". I am not a sales person! I'm must too honest to be a sales person. I hope to be hired within 2011 as a PSS.

I was in direct care with an employer in Southern Cali, and worked with at-risk teens from 2004-2007. I also tutored (went into business for myself) in 2008, but I made no profits. My competition was free, so I stopped.

I'd love to work for a non-profit and learn about RFPs and how the grant writing process works! I also desire to work in administration. I have a degree in Business/Information Systems. My capstone was Project Management. I LOVED IT. I started my MBA summer of 2009. Concentration is in Human Resources. I should be complete with my MBA by Sep 2010.

I do not speak Spanish and as a citizen of the United States of America, I don't believe anyone should be forced to speak Spanish to get a job in the US, unless that job is in sales.
If people speak Spanish or whatever language at home, that is their own business. However, on the job, English should be spoken all the times. Italians learned English when they came over hear, why can't mexicians and others of latin decent do the same?

If you are an immigrant, please learn English and use it on the job. Libraries have ESL classes FOR FREE.

Some bad employers are taking advantage of hispanic workers - and making it an unsafe work place for hispanics. That is WRONG and ILLEGAL. Employers need to abide by ALL laws - even if the employees are illegal immigrants. Don't take advantage of them since they are illegal. Hispanics are human too.

If I was to live in Spain or Mexico, I would be expected to learn the language of the land. It should not be any different here in the US.
