Gregg Hymowitz was educated at the State University of New York at Binghamton where he received his BA, Phi Beta Kappa in 1987. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School where he graduated Cum Laude. In 1985 Hymowitz was one of five Harry S. Truman Scholars from New York, and in 1987 he was honored as a British Hansard Society Scholar.
