About Me:
Mr. Sinclairs cartoons and illustrations have appeared in newspapers around the world, and his work has been profiled in numerous publications, including the New York Times, The Utne Reader, and HaAretz of Jerusalem.
30 years of writing and activism in the areas of energy and environment, including extended study in Nashville with Al Gore and the worlds leading climate experts, in addition to skillful
creation of audio visual presentations, have made Mr. Sinclairs
presentation on Climate change and alternative energy one which has been called a must see!
Constantly updated information, made vivid with striking, clear graphics and animations, many derived from NASA, The National Snow and Ice Data Center, and top international sources, an expert knowledge of the issues of energy and environment, and an informal, good humored delivery, make difficult concepts easy to see and grasp.
No issue will have a greater impact on the new century than the decisions we make on energy and the impact of global climate change, and Peter Sinclairs presentation makes the critical points
dramatically clear and immediate.

I only recently discovered your channel and I'm marvelled by how calm you can handle all the injustice in the world. I really hope I can learn from you.
Could you tell if this little theory that I have is being researched or has been denied or confirmed?
The increased arctic ice melt in 2007 has cooled down ocean water temperature or at least slowed down it's warming. This could then account for the "cooler" years 2008 and 2009. Once the arctic will be ice free in summer the brakes will be off and the temperature rise will accelerate.
I know my little theory needs a little more depth to make it through peer-review but you get the point.
Just imagining it were true and the effect would continue through the next decade or so, it might become food for skepticism and take away the political will to take drastic measures. So it might be of major concern to be pointed out as a trend to be expected, a deceiving silence before the storm.
What do you think?
I was just wanted to congratulate you on your channel, it's been a breath of fresh air.
I've spent ages trolling through youtube looking at depressing denialist videos.
So kudos on the good work and keep it up,
Malty
you gotta look at the last major volcano.
last big erruption there was a el nino HOWEVER the temperatures dipped and at same time there was that volcanic erruption. look at greenman3610s" party like its 1998"
findings in Science, Nature, or PNAS.
Till then, I will continue to tell the story that the vast majority of working, publishing, mainstream climate scientists are
presenting to us.
If I was looking at a period with high levels of GHG in the atmosphere that abruptly cooled, I would be very interested as to why and why the climate that is so highly dominated by positive feedback's (supposedly) didn't seem to slow the decline despite a built in warming mechanism in methane hydrate mobilization triggered by a180m drop in sea level.
curingaging00 -Re read what I posted please. The volcanism doesn't time very well with the cooling trend, ocean current changes see to be a better fit with volcanism playing a supporting role early on.
and volcano events COOL the earth not heat it up.
thus more GHG gasses release thus higher temp thus more GHG gasses released.
this also will start to eat away at the artic and antartic. snow reflects over 70% of radiation. as for dirt and ocean that absorbs more. so that also contributes to warming of earth.
i believe its positive effect or somethin.
it may be true that co2 starts rising after temperature before.
but the way it is said to work is that when temperatures start to go up caused mainly by orbital and earth tilt factors. with a higher temp this will lower the tundra's ability to store GHG gasses. i think the ocean's ability to keep co2 and methane might also weaken (not so sure about that). but anyways when temperatures rise GHG gets released more.
