I woulda taken the liquid over the embersmith. Great with tempered steel, tap, target creature gets +2 +2/ pluss good with metal craft, which you needed, and the ogre to give him things to fling other than his own fieces.

I have no idea why you didn't get the land and then if he played a bomb you could play the dragon. Had ur oppenant not been an idiot you would've gotten your dragon killed. You could have had the option available the whole time.

Not sure why you didn't get the shatter. With turn to slag/ember red was much more potent than white.

Why did you bounce idol? As far as dmg goes you tap the censer and bounce it with glint hawk. It's the same dmg either way. Bouncing the idol does nothing.
