I was lucky enough to have seen The Skids twice, supporting The Stranglers in Cardiff Top Rank in 1978 then at Newport Stowaway Club in 1979 supported by another great band called The Edge. One of the truly brilliant and inspiring bands ever.

Dear oh dear oh dear. What a complete turd of a song. To think that this band wrote tracks like Heroes, Tank, The Raven, Straighten Out etc. Five years since they sacked Paul Roberts and this is what the result is. File under 'complete wank'.

Tagula Spa were great. Should have been massive. We played with them quite a few times when we were The Deep. Also The Firepeople/100 Eyes were brilliant. I've googled Whitty and Clive & Stuart Smallwood but to no avail. Clive was the drummer with Tagula Spa and I can't ever remember Steve Price....
