My Dad, an Okie, was a great singer. I've always liked to sing, in fact, on trips with the kids in the back seat, I wouldn't turn on the radio, but would sing all the old songs I learned from my Dad. My youngest son got me a little electric guitar when I turned 60. It took me about a year to sit down and try to learn how to play it. Let me tell you, it wasn't easy. I still don't play to well, but, what the hell, My tempo sucks, but, I'm getting better. So, my appologies for all of you accomplished guitar players, but, I have fun playing and singing. If your not having fun, then you shouldn't be doing it. I love classic country and classic country singers. My wife puts up with me going over a song a hundred times trying to get it close to right. We will be married come June of 2008, 46 great years. We have three wonderful sons and 11 also wonderful grandchildren from ages 2 1/2 to 23. We also love the Lord and enjoy our lives.
