Mr. Dither
Beauford Ambrose Dither made his fortune selling Dither's Snake Oil as a medicine to prospectors in California around the time of the Gold Rush. He bought up real estate in San Sueno, California.
He then got into the motion picture business at the turn of the century and started American Motion Pictures, producing the now famous, Kooky Kanards series, and the classic The Apotheosis of Abe Lincoln.
Dither acquired preternaturally long life by purchasing from a Native American shaman a magic pipe.
In the 1960′s Dither opened his restaurant chain Chupa Taco, which has become America's premiere destination for fine Mexican dining.
He currently lives in a fortified compound in San Clemente.
