The GBO is a Full Brass Orchestra and is the centerpiece of our performing ensembles and our premiere concert experience.
The 28 member full brass orchestra features 25 of New York's leading brass instrumentalists
ranging from 10 brilliant cornets to 4 resonant tubas, and 3 percussionists.

Our versatile concert repertoire includes:

1. Symphonic works from orchestral greats such as Strauss, Shostakovich, Copland and Elgar

2. Traditional British and American festive brass band arrangements

3. Original compositions and arrangements written specifically for GBO

4. Jazz styles from composers like Duke Ellington, Dave Brubeck, Bob James and more

GBO is an ideal accompaniment for major guest artists both vocal and instrumental.
Programs can be designed for your specific concert or event. With our members being
accustomed to playing with the top ensembles and acts in the music & entertainment business,
Gramercy Brass Orchestra is at home in all styles of musical interpretation.
