This looks great! I've made a few machines to get gold with, and I found that gold doesn't really care about how pretty the machine is. Great camera work! It's amazing what a steady camera can do for the video, instead of jumping all over the place. AND kudo's on finding the gold... this could easily turn out to be quite interesting...

Thanks for the reply about the pump. That one draws about 8.4 amps, which means about 100 watts... I have 90 watts of solar... maybe I could power it with that if I get one more small panel ... or just use what I have to charge a spare battery....

First thing I did back in 1969 when I got my Harley 74 was to lay it down on the lawn to see how to pick it back up again... figured I might need to know how to do that some day. Sheesh... I didn't know I just could've had some girl do it for me...
