Gladys Knight is a national treasure. I can't think of one song by her that I don't love. This is among the best. (And I'm trying to get past seeing "You're" as "your" on the background)

That 1st verse was gorgeous...I was ready to write a glowing review. Then came the bridge and Jewel goes "Bette Midler". WTF was that all about?

OK version but spoiled by that last note which was seriously flat. Like his studio cover better. And that one is a tie with Neil Diamond's original. Love CI though...no one carries the flame of Roy Orbison any better.

Amazing that she sounds this good after all these years. I'd have assumed she'd have lost a lot on her voice just due to time. I'm a singer myself...I wonder how she does it?
