@iCe1984zz that's because the original snare has been sample-replaced. The kick drum sounds too even so that might've been replaced or at least layered with a sample as well. Haven't heard a metal/hard rock band that doesn't do that, it's a stylistic thing when mixing that genre.

Even if you're playing metal that last ultra gain sound was horrible. Too much gain, excessive lows and highs and absolutely no mids = no definition
