I was born in Warabi city, Saitama in 1958. Warabi is a densely populated suburb of Tokyo, which is a 45 minute train ride from central Tokyo.
I began to play football(soccer) at age 12 and played everyday until I graduated from university.
After graduation I worked for the third largest advertising agency in Japan for twenty years, I spent a year in 2005 living in Beijing setting up an internet advertising agency.
I met my teacher Naohiro Uchida before going to Beijing and studied under him and eventually opened Konohana under his guidance.
At the same time I have studied Japanese martial arts and breathing techniques with various teachers. My main interest is studying ancient Japanese ways to balance the body and mind.
I am a black belt (first dan) in Shorinjikempo.
I always keep in mind the following.
When dealing with psychic phenomena and Ki, it is easy to fall into the trap of thinking that one is somehow special or gifted.
When I see that I am able to help my clients with their problems, I sometimes feel that I am special. However, when this ego takes control, I know that I will not be able to help solve the clients problems.
This is because the higher powers will not assist those who have this kind of ego. Dealing with psychic phenomena or working with Ki is in fact nothing extraordinary. It is one of mans most basic and primal abilities.
One has to be alert to catch this ego and not be taken in by it.
Therefore, I stay vigilant and continue to work to better myself.
