About Me:

An ol' Buckeye, but living in the Centennial State now. Just passed 68. Not sure if thats age, psi or mph.

BA History, BS Social Studies Education. from The Ohio State University; MS Ed, Library/Media, from Colorado's Adams State College.

Happy to be ADD. Has enjoyed a lifelong involvement with libraries and teaching -- and, well, trains. Retired but still working part-time as a Pain in the Butt --that is, substitute teacher.

Some time ago he married the girl next door -- a dynamic music teacher named Nancy. For two summers they lived under a roller coaster at Conneaut Lake Park in Pennsylvania. They taught in Ohio for a while, but were sidetracked to Chama, NM where they worked for the C&TS RR for six years. They followed that with a stint in the motel business before finding their way back into education.

They now live near the Mile High City, close to their two adult sons who are happily married and have provided them with five lovely grand children (who seem to show up frequently in the videos).
