Gothatfunk's position on Faith: whether someone believes in some kind of higher power or not, this in and of itself does not concern me. If, as a person of faith, your beliefs lead you to be MORE patient, MORE compassionate, MORE tolerant, and if your beliefs help you find peace with yourself and your place in the world, then i consider your faith to be a good thing - for you. if your faith gives you less patience, compassion, or tolerance then YES, i have a problem with your beliefs.
for me, its not about belief, its about the results of the belief. i feel the same way about ALL faiths, and i also feel that way about the faithless.
