When 4 or 5 Cops all recognize a threat at the same time, all may shoot to stop that threat. Thats how you get 40 rounds fired in one incident. Cops are trained to shoot until the threat is stopped, be it 1 or 100. As far as the shouted commands, thats more training kicking in. And the BB gun? C...

@deboisblanc I understand ur point, but the neck wound was soft tissue. I dont think, (may be wrong), that the shooter was using hollowpoints. The horrendous destruction was due to the round exiting thru bone.
