Even without any visuals whatsoever, this song makes you think you're speeding down the road on a TDF time trial. Amazing work by the masters of techno!

Once again the sound behind this great song is the legendary Bernie Worrell (Parliament and many other bands). He plays the bass line and other weird sounds that make this tune so memorable. His synth solo is one for the ages.

"Flashlight" is a showcase for the legendary keyboard player Bernie Worrell. It's all synths played the master. His talent is so extraordinary it seems to me he really was and is "Light Years In Time, Ahead of His Time." I've loved many of Parliaments tunes, but none more than this one.
