About Golden Harvest Food Bank - Georgia, South Carolina
Golden Harvest is the regional food bank for 30 counties in Georgia and South Carolina, with warehouse and distribution locations in Augusta, GA, Aiken, SC and Liberty, SC.
We are dedicated to ENDING HUNGER in our region. Working with over 450 partner agencies and programs, Golden Harvest distributed over 10.7 million lbs. of food in Fiscal Year 2008.
Golden Harvest also operates direct service programs. These include the Master's Table Soup Kitchen in Augusta, as well as the BackPack program (which provides weekend meals for at-risk schoolchildren) and the Brown Bag program (which distributes staple groceries to elderly populations in 27 counties).
