Historical stars of the concert stage

As a singer and musicologist, I have spent quite a few years collecting and studying historical records. There are several excellent channels about singers and classical music here, but I always had the feeling that concert singers are a little overshadowed by the opera stars (as they tend to be in real life, too, I should add). So for the future I plan to post a few recordings by singers that were known in their time especially for their concert work. Some of these were big names in opera, too (yes, there will be Slezak, Rehkemper and Destinn!), but others you may have never heard before. My work will not allow me to invest as much time in this channeI as I'd like to, but please be patient - this collection will grow over the months. I enjoyed all of the records I plan to upload immensely, and I hope you do, too.
