~Light in The Abyss~
Everytime I fall in love,
I fall in a wretched trap.
It drops deep and endlessly,
and its forbiddenly dark.
The pain it seems,
forever, and sharp as razors,
simple words,
bring complex tears.
Right choices I never make,
diving in too deep, I drown
in confusion and in pain, only to find
his love was shallow, not 80 feet deep.
Im not afraid to cry,
about the pain he brought onto me,
I'm lifelessly suprised I'm smiling
and I'm laughing, but only because of you.
I see a light, but pain does he keep bringing
I suffocate in my tears,
but you keep me breathing,
deep down in my complicated heartbreak
He broke my heart, shattered and torn,
he stepped on it and bruised it,
he lied and left me forlorn,
he made me trust for once in my life, and abused it.
I want to stop loving him,
but even the strongest soul has flaws,
he could punch me in the face, once again,
and I'd try to forgive, and but never forget.
Much pain is brought onto me,
his harsh words and bad intentions,
where is the love and affection? where am I?
dead.
Yet you give me reason to be,
you make me cry, not from pain.
for bliss, from feeling like I'm worth
something to someone as great as you
I know I'm just a friend, as I've been told,
I try to not cross lines but its hard to ignore
the way you make me feel,
alive.
I love you, whether or not its mutual,
I don't care, even as your friend,
you treat me well and know whats right,
and whats crossing the line
My scars are healing, pain still present,
you mold the fear into bits of once torn trust,
I peer into the endless pit of love and I ask you,
is it worth falling into? And will you catch me before I break?
