I have no intention of denying people the freedom to believe whatever they want. However, I will not shut up while religion plays such an integral role in the world around us. I will use the 1st Amendment and criticize religion. I may be harsh in my views, but I'd rather be bitter on the subject than disillusioned and obedient. It truly does scare me that an institution based on no proof or evidence can brainwash and mentally, physically, emotionally, and/or spiritually enslave its followers. I don't plan on following. I plan on setting my own life, fighting for freedom, and having fun every step of the way. I'm sorry if you take that as bigotry.

Please try to be more open minded about religion. It has its bad points, but that is no reason to be a bigot.
